We loved visiting the Chattahoochee Nature Center! πΏπ¦ There are so many cool things to see and do, both inside and outside. We enjoyed the interesting short movie about the area, explored the beautiful, tree-shaded trails with gorgeous views, and got to experience the amazing seasonal butterfly exhibit! The butterfly exhibit ends August 30th, so definitely check it out while you can! We even got to feed the butterflies sugar water, and they came right to us! π¦ It was such a fun and memorable experience. The staff were also extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had such a wonderful visit and would love to visit again next time we are in the area! π

We specifically went for the butterfly encounter they have right now! It was absolutely incredible. The butterflies will land on you and stay. It's unlike most other encounters I've been able to go to. We had a blast. And then we saw the birds of prey and saw the beaver. We plan to go back at some point when we're more prepared to explore and go hiking. π₯°π₯°π₯°

My kids ages 2-7 and I all enjoyed this place. Enclosed animals to see, including a beaver from afar. Lots of boardwalk paths and trails to walk on. We ran out of time!

Went on a weekday and it was pretty sparse as far as visitors was concerned. There was one school group and a few others, so walking the grounds was easy with no rush to enjoy the sites. We enjoyed the inside displays at the visitors center as well as the walking trails. Beautiful place to visit with live animals and cool structures and sculptures. We would have stayed longer, but the weather was damp, hot, and humid. Would recommend getting a free pass at your local library such as we did. We in turn left a donation inside the visitors center. Good place to visit on a sunny day especially.

We went as a family and kids loved the it. They have variety of native plants and flowers, and abundant opportunity to spot native birds and insects. It was hot but we brought water and snacks for kids, lots of seating areas along with restrooms. Kids loved owls, beaver section and lake area where many turtles and fishes to watch along the shore. NB- renovation and construction were going on.
